Chronic diseases are in Italy and in Europe (Source: WHO-2005) 86% of all deaths and 75% of healthcare costs.
It is therefore proposed " Gaining health" , DPCM 2007, a program of shared and coordinated action to combat the four major risk factors for chronic diseases in our country.
The main actors will have to work so will the health care system, the schools , the field of agricultural policies, the world of youth and leisure, economic policies and transport policies and urban planning. To promote this we need to work together with the general practitioners located in our territory.
The objective will therefore be of mobility and physical activity of people (transport and "green space" (the bike path, park, etc..) promote good nutrition by supporting the consumption of fruit and vegetables, reducing the concentration of salt, sugar and fat in foods and reducing the share of high-calorie foods in the diet, as much as possible discourage cigarette smoking and abuse of alcohol.
To encourage physical activity we propose is planning interventions to improve the network of cycle paths already exist, paths etc.. ( sportattivo ), but also the ability to perform physical activity organizations and conventions (think of walking, swimming, gym, gymnastics, etc..) Both in primary prevention (ie, activities for healthy subjects) and for secondary prevention (in people with diseases such as hypertension, diabetes or cardiovascular disease in general) knowing the benefits that brings physical activity in the onset of these diseases and cure them. These will have activities known as the " gymnastics for seniors " but also offered to young people such as the adoption the " Foot-bus .
Regarding the power supply will also be able to develop the market for products with 0 km.
